Over the years, Neel has performed in a wide range of works by famous choreographers, becoming a key figure in the modern and contemporary dance world. Graciela Martínez Arribas, born in Madrid, trained at the Mariemma Professional Conservatory and worked with top companies throughout her career. She was a member of the English National Ballet, the Leipzig Ballet, the Nice Opera Ballet, the Basel Ballet, the Italian company Aterballetto, and the Munich Ballet. Her style, blending classical technique with contemporary movement, has made her stand out on international stages. Since 2010, Neel and Graciela have explored choreography together, starting with international projects in Shanghai, where they showcased a series of works that reflected their shared artistic vision. These initial collaborations led them to found their own company, Lit Dance, in Switzerland in 2019. They’ve since created several works that have been presented in theaters and festivals across Europe, known for their experimental approach and unique mix of styles. Lit Dance has also received support from the Swiss government, helping the company grow and make an impact both in Switzerland and internationally. In addition to their work with Lit Dance, Neel and Graciela have been invited to collaborate on projects in Belgium, Germany, and Spain, where they’ve continued to share their artistic ideas and create new works. Their versatile style and ability to work in various settings have helped them keep evolving as artists and expand their influence in contemporary dance.
